SouqView API Terms
Version 2026-10-18.2
These terms apply to the SouqView market data API ("the API"), operated by MASA 71 SPC LLC, a UAE-registered company ("we", "us"). You accept them when you create an API key or start a paid plan.
1. Licence
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to access the API and to use and display the data inside your own product or for your own internal purposes, for as long as your subscription is paid and in good standing.
You are licensed to use the data, not to own it. Our own rights to the data come from third-party providers and can be withdrawn, which is why this licence is revocable.
2. No onward redistribution
You may not resell, sublicense, syndicate or otherwise make the data available to any third party, or use it to build a competing data product. Internal use and display inside your own end-user product only.
You may not bulk-extract the data to build a competing database, or call the API in order to reconstruct the underlying dataset.
Service providers that process the data only on your behalf and under your instructions, such as your hosting provider or an AI model provider that does not retain the data or train on it, are not third parties for this section. You remain responsible for them.
History and financials we supply carry marks that identify your account. They sit below the precision exchanges quote, for example the fourth decimal of a price, a few shares on a day's volume or a few units on a figure in the millions, so every value is exact at exchange precision. Live quotes carry none. The marks let us trace copies; removing or altering them, or trying to, breaches these terms.
3. Upstream dependency and suspension
We may suspend or modify the service where an upstream data provider suspends, modifies or ends our access, or where an exchange withdraws permission. A suspension on those grounds is not a breach of these terms, and our liability is limited to a pro-rata refund of prepaid fees for the affected period.
4. No warranty, no advice
Data is provided as is, without warranty of accuracy, completeness, timeliness or fitness for a particular purpose. Prices are not tick data and can trail the exchange by several minutes; each quote states its session and whether it is stale. Sandbox data is synthetic.
Nothing supplied through the API is investment advice, a recommendation, or an offer to buy or sell any security. You are responsible for your own regulatory obligations toward your users.
5. Liability
Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for any trading or investment loss.
6. Acceptable use
Each plan carries a per-minute rate limit, a request quota for the period, and a daily limit on the number of different companies reached for history and financials, as shown on souqview.ae/data. We may throttle or suspend sustained abuse.
Keys belong to your account and may not be shared between organisations. Keep them secret, and revoke and report any key you believe is compromised.
We record the IP addresses that use your keys and keep them for 90 days. We may pause a key used from many places at once, which suggests it has been shared or leaked, and an account paying with a card that already pays for another account, until we have reviewed it. Test keys keep working while live access is paused.
7. Plans, trial, billing and cancellation
Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, in US dollars through Stripe, and renew automatically. Prices exclude VAT and any other taxes.
A first paid plan starts with a 7-day free trial. Your card is taken at checkout and charged when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. During the trial, history and financials cover recent periods and up to 25 companies a day; full access starts with the first payment, which you can bring forward from your console. One trial per account and per card: a card that has already had a trial is charged from the start.
You can cancel at any time from the billing page in your console. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, then your account returns to the free Sandbox plan. Fees already paid are not refunded, except as section 3 provides.
If a payment fails, live keys stop working until the outstanding invoice is paid. On termination you must stop using the data and delete cached copies, except where the law requires you to keep them.
8. Changes
We may change these terms with notice. A material change takes effect at your next renewal, so you are never bound mid-period by terms you did not accept.
9. These terms and the app's terms
These terms govern your use of the API and prevail over the SouqView app's Terms of Service where the two differ. The app's terms continue to govern your SouqView account.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of the relevant emirate have jurisdiction.
